10-Minute Living-Room Moves for Working Moms (No Equipment)
You do not need a garage gym. You need shoes off (or on), a timer, and permission to do something small.
Before you start
Clear a towel-length of floor. If something hurts sharply, skip that move. This is not physical therapy and not a challenge culture dare.
The ten-minute circuit (repeat twice)
Do each move about 40 seconds, breathe, then 20 seconds easy transition:
- March or jog in place — arms swing; wake the system up.
- Sit-to-stand from a chair — pretend to stand from your desk chair; control the lower.
- Counter or couch push-ups — hands on a sturdy surface, body in a line.
- Standing hip hinge (good morning) — soft knees, hands on hips, hinge and return; feel hamstrings.
- Wall sit or chair hover — pick a depth you can hold with a calm face.
- Floor stretch: child's pose or forward fold — slow breaths to close.
How often
Most days beat heroic Saturdays. Pair it with the kettle boiling or the last dishwasher load. Two songs on a speaker you already own is a fine timer.
What this is not
Not a transformation promise. Not a reason to buy dumbbells tonight. Motion that fits a real Tuesday still counts.
