- Description: Fifteen minutes, flashlights, and no destination. Why a short after-dinner family walk is one of the easiest fall wellness habits to keep.

Fall evenings get dark early, but the after-dinner walk still works.

## Why bother

A short walk after eating can help with digestion and blood sugar, gets everyone off screens, and often brings out the best conversations with kids.

## Make it doable

- 10–15 minutes, around the block
- Flashlights or headlamps, kids love them
- Reflective vests or clip-on lights for visibility
- The dog comes too

## Keep it low-pressure

No step goals. No destination. The habit counts more than the distance.
